    Hey everyone!

I'm so thrilled to finally join the Jeep Wrangler family!!! Just bought an '09 Wrangler X 3.8L V6 with a manual tranny, 64k miles. It's got quite a few nice upgrades/mods on it and I look forward to learning more about this amazing vehicle and making it my own!

I'd love to hear any advice you have for this vehicle. Everything looked in great working order from my test drive and check out - did some research and asked this community what to look for before doing that.

A bit about me, I'm an outdoorsy, tiny gal who has always loved trucks and Jeeps. Grew up dirt bike riding (99% of my experience with manual transmissions, but I'm doing great so far!!!), camping, hiking, etc in the Rockies and Grand Tetons. I'm now on the East coast with my hubby. We've been making day trips out to the Smokies and can't wait to take my Wrangler up there.

I'd love to get connected with some ppl in GA to do some fun trail days or explore the smokies. LMK if there is a group you suggest for that. :D

Here are a few specs on my Wrangler and some pics:
    '09 Wrangler X
    Flame Red
    Brand New Bestop soft top
    Manual Tranny
    3.8L V6 Engine
2.5" JKS Lift Kit with Bilstein Shocks
Eagle Alloy Wheels 17" with 35" Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires
    3.73 Axle Ratio
Next Gen Dana 44 HD Rear axle
Next Gen Dana 30 Solid Front axle

I look forward to getting to know ppl on here and IRL! Can't wait to explore the world of Wranglers!

5" lift, 4.11 gears, tru-trac limited-slips, winch, bumbers... you know the rest.
Congrats Aletani! That is a nice jeep and jks makes great lift kits, what a combo you have put together. Hope you enjoy every minute on the summer with the top off. What are your next upgrades? 4.56 gears and trutrac differentials?! or maybe LED lights?? It's and endless world of parts out there...

Thank you! I already enjoy every second! Haha.

I am getting the gearing assessed by a mechanic and jeep modder so he can tell me if he thinks it needs regeared now or if it can be put off. 4.56 would be my ideal eventually. With LSD and c gussets added at the same time probably. Don't need full lockers for what i plan to do with her. Do need a jack and full sized spare with the HD mounting for it.

Getting a set of quality bumpers with a winch on the front would be good, can't really go off roading with out tow hooks on the front...

Halos would be sweet, but are lower priority atm. ^_^

Loving the jeep world thus far and it hasn't even been a week. I'd say I've learned a ton tho.

Nice. Running topless is awesome. Now you need to get the Hubby to take your doors off. Running naked is awesome. The freedom you'll feel running down the street with your....Ummm.....stuff, in the wind. ;) You'll love it.

Chi is just so photogenic! Explored some gorgeous woods on some easy forestry roads. Looking forward to Aetna Woods in TN in October. Going with a Jeep crew local to GA.

Maybe a better banner pic? Haha. I love seeing Chi up on the forum banner. Thanks for loving on me. You've all been so helpful and welcoming.
