First Hello from the pacific NW!

I am a complete Jeep newbie. Just got my first one @ 50 plus years of age. A 1967 CJ5 with the F134 "Hurricane". Got it through a trade. It will need work (don't they all) but i'm not above that.
So I ask forgiveness now for all the stupid questions I may have

Nice it is good to have a forum member so close. Unfortunately mine has been more of a pavement princess. There are a couple of places that I would like to check out one being down towards Cottage Grove and is a trail that takes you into an old Bohemian gold mine ghost town. What part of Eugene are you guys in? We are actually in Leaburg so about 20 miles up the McKenzie.
