Gas leak on start

    Gas filter leaking only at start. Changed filter hoses and clamps and still leaks
    after few minutes running leak stops. Next day same thing happens.

    That's not a safe situation. Just because it stopped is not good enough. If you cannot permanently stop the leak get a good mechanic to look it over.

    Welcome to the forum wjpappy.
    Agree with aggrex. This is not a good issue to have. I wouldn't mess around with it to long if you can't figure out the problem. Keep us posted. Good luck.

    Based on your description the location of the gas leak is known. Got the right size hoses? right size clamps? not over tightened? not under tightened? not using used or old hoses? cracked filter housing? if its inline filter, bypass it and see if it still leaks. Pictures will help us help you.
