    Is there anyone out there that can send me a wire diagram for the red wire for the daytime running lights? I am clueless when it come to wiring and these lights came with no instructions and I can’t find anything anywhere...

    I really need some help

    There is a RED wire that comes off the plug that supplies power to the daytime running lights.

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

    You could connect the red wire to a switch so that you can control the DRLs or you could wire it into the power wire for your amber marker lights so it comes on when you turn the marker lights on or you could run a wire to a spot on the fuse box that is switched power so that when the key is on the DRLs are on. I would use a relay, though probably not needed I would rather be safe than sorry.

    I really hate electrical...
    I guess my question is or should be worded, do they need to be wired on a seperate switch?
    If I run them off the markers light power, when you turn on the regular light low/hi LEDs, do the driving lights then turn off?
    I hate to burn something up. Can’t find anything Youtube, or pdf for install...

    The LED headlights I am looking at that also have DRLs the DRLs stay on. Even if you wire them and they stay on with the headlights there shouldn't be an issue, they shouldn't pull that many amps to cause an issue but like I said I would use a relay. Use the power from the marker lights to trigger the relay rather than powering the DRLs directly from the same circuit as the marker lights which may over load that circuit.

    Or you could just not connect it. . . Does your jeep currently have daytime running lights (DRL)?

    What Jeep is this going in? If I were wiring it I would find a switch hot coming from the ignition. A wire that is hot when the ignition is on only, and run the daytime lights from it.

    I would like to see a before and after pic of the differences in the 2 illuminations please. I'm considering a brighter upgrade.

    I'm with goinginjeep. I hate electrical issues. So I do follow them hopeing to learn something. I'm slowly figuring this one out. Loll.o_O.

    Alright you scalawags, got them installed and for now wired the DRLs to the side markers.
    These look incredible. They halos are bright and the purple LED DRLs look sic.2356B618-F536-46B9-B0E9-D36EF49A05C7.jpg

    So as they are currently wired, when I turn on the lights the DLRs stay on. I am going to rewire with a kit and a Jeep style toggle switch from Amazon.

    The lights themselves are HELLA BRIGHT! The hi beams are almost a spot of sort and schit they are HELLA HELLA bright.

    Not sure if it hurts having the DRLs on with the headlights, they cause a slight purple hue and with the Halos on looks bad Azz

    Ill try getting a picture of the lights with the headlights on so you all can see what they look like.

    Love ‘em. Better then what I had and very cool for the price I paid.

    No, its a low power source. For example, the 12v DC outlet, or running lights.

    Damn now Im completely confused. Vids on YouTube show powersources at the battery...
    so with that said, I don’t have to connect to the battery? I could tap the cigarette lighter?
