Been a long time since I attended an auto show where you pay $$ to look at new cars. Things have changed and the new auto show tries to cover a wider audience. The glamorous models are gone as well as most vehicle brochures but a Jeep obstacle course was present with a separate section for one-off custom vehicles and restored antique vehicles.

Only had interest in checking out the 2018 JK/JL while the rest of my group wandered elsewhere. Discovered a few JL differences but not enough to splurge for one yet.

Yea I thought it was pretty bad ass actually. It looked like it was lifted. Maybe jeep has been watching some YouTube videos and listening to people in the comment sections about making commercials just like how we use the damn things

Who ever was driving that jeep was driving it with a pair or balls. I'd never go into water fast enough to where it swamps over the hood and then muscle thru the rest of it.

Fuck that haha if I do it I'm goin slow and steady... I'd probably end up down stream a few hundred yards but I'll be damned if my shit gets hydro locked lmao

Figure if they are filming for a commercial, if they wreck it or damage it, that's nothing compared to the air time of the commercial itself. May as well go big! :p

    You might be right...

The cost of a 30-second Super Bowl commercial continues holding at a premium level this year, with NBC drawing in excess of $5 million for a 30-second spot for Sunday's showcase.

I think it was. But then again if jeep asked me to drive one of their rigs for a commercial I'm probably gonna drive the sack off it like that guy did in the commercial. Just because no one person owns it. If it were my personal rig or somebody else's that paid hard earned money for I'd have gone pretty easy lol

I think it was too. And I'm sure that wasn't the first take for the commercial. Since it was for what's probably the biggest stage in the country, in pro sports for the year. They made sure that the final cut was perfect. They are pushing the 2018 models pretty heavy in the auto market. It is a pretty sick advertisement for the brand.
