@2oldjeeps the XJ is certainly a stiff one (uniframe): the first Jeep with a ladder-boxed chassis integrated into a single monocoque unit. @JKBob 25 perhaps rigid and sturdy would help keep this thread on track and no beating necessary.

Just got done installing the IRO Rocklink 3 link, ARB Diff Cover, Nitro Spool, Posi lock actuator and also trimmed the fenders. Sorry about the pics, they look fine on my phone but not on the computer got it all done and had to try out the new mods :)

Welded in my 38 inch ladder bars on Sunday! The handling is unreal

Looks like a great job on the installation! What exactly do ladder bars do for a Jeep? Think I've seen them on high-powered muscle cars to control the axle wind up.

No its not a race jeep. It just has a lot of torque and midrange power so I installed the ladder bars to eliminate the massive wheel hop and twisting of the body. I know its not anything special and don't have a desire to lift it. Instead I'm going opposite and going for ridged handling which I've achieved just from the ladder bars alone!

Well with the S/C stroker, ladder bars and low COG it will be an interesting + fun build. Add the NP242 T/C (Selec-Trac) to ensure a cannonball rally win.

The stroker is a 98. the exhaust manifolds I have on it now are off a 99, the only down fall is that they have smaller ports so I have new headers to fit the larger port cylinder head on it. It currently has 2 cats for emissions going down into two 10 series offset flowmaster mufflers- sideways straight out to exit under the front fenders hooked into a sidepipe muffler on each side

No I don't, not yet or anytime soon. My stroker is still on its engine stand waiting for me to finish its top end. Dropped a valve so I'm doing another overhaul on it and beefing up the cam and valve train

Yup still reinforcing it where the ram actually attaches to the skid. Knuckles should be here soon.
