    Grille Guard
new here so please don't kill me if I'm doing this wrong.
Just installed a new brush guard, Deer catchers as we call 'em here in Wisconsin.
and the last step in the directions is {after you tighten everything down} to remove the grille guard and cut out strips in the splash guard so you can reinstall it. I understand why they have you do this as the last step.. that way everything is tightened down and aligned correctly.
Question: is the splash guard really worth the time and effort to pull everything off to just put it back on?

Welcome! Post some pics of the grill guard, splash guard in question as well as your rig (Jeep) so better answers might pop up. If the splash guard is thin plastic it should be simple to cut. Try a card board mockup of the space for the splash guard and maybe you won't have to take off the grille guard.
