I finally found the good Jeep forum...

I'm a new owner of a 2000 Cherokee XJ. I want to make some changes to it, and what better place then here. I am also a part of the TUNDRAS.COM forum and they have helped me use my money wisely. So I'm here to do the same thing.

My XJ is 2wd, but I would like to make it look a little tougher. And maybe just get everything working like it did out the factory. (At least close)

Well anyway here she is... Glad to be here!!IMG_20181006_114759.jpg IMG_20181006_114832.jpg IMG_20181010_184006.jpg

    Hello Fiestee!
    Good looking XJ.
I also have a 2000 2wd XJ in my stable, but it's not quite that nice.

    Welcome to Jeeps.net from Oklahoma.

Yeah it is in great shape compared to so many that we looked at. Interior is all intacted, no rips, tears, gouges. The clear coat on the paint is peeling on the roof. But other then that really good condition.

I think the valve cover is leaking a little bit, so that'll be one of my next projects. Just did the oil change, filled all the fluids, put a gas additive, and oil additive (Lucas leak stop) and it's running even smoother. I put in a washable air filter too.

Next are spark plugs and wires. Is anyone using specific ones that they like?

Champion Coppers are all you need and since the 2000-2001s use a coil pack you won't need wires.

One of the easiest vehicles to convert from 2wd to 4wd.

Noted JeepConfucius once stated lusting at XJ mountaintops can enlighten (wallet) and bring perspective (attitude) to ones build.
