i got a 4 speed tranny from a jeep pickup for sale. I believe it is a 76 but I'm not sure. I bought a cj5 and the tranny/transfer case came with it. the old owners plan was to put it in the cj so it would be geared lower for crawling. apparently it will bolt right up to the 76 cj, just need to take an inch out of the drive shaft. anyone want it?

Hi Matthew. I believe the T150 is a 3spd. It sounds like he may have the BW T18/19 which is a 4spd with 6:1 granny gear.

How much are you asking for the tranny and can you post some close up pics please?

ya I'm not sure what it is for sure. I will upload some more pixs soon. I bought a 1976 cj5 and the tranny was included in the sale. all I know is its heavy as hell and he said it would work on the jeep if I had cut 1 inch out of the drive shaft. he said it was similar gearing to what I have with one that is lower. I will have to find out what it is worth but I know they are quite rare.
