Rubicon Express. They're lil beefier than others on the market. I like the poly pivot greaseable ends. I also applied a dab of grease on the mounting pins. Easier to slid off. Never know when ya might need to disconnect to navigate and crawl a speed bump at the mall.. Well....in my case anyway. :p

Broke 2 sway links on my XJ just messin around. Thought these were a good upgrade for the JK.

Bilstein 5100 shocks and steering stabilizer.
Much better ride and less bump steer over old Skyjacker system I was running. Also Synergy relocation bracket and tie rod clamp.

It's hard to beat a bilstein shock. I got them for my dual steering stabilizer set up. Had the 5100's on my tacoma also and they worked great

Great shocks Bob. There is no right or wrong, but I don't install the boots on my jeeps. Here in the south we have lots of Gulf moisture and the boots cause rust on the shock and shock shaft. I have to say that the JK is pretty difficult to change the shocks as far as shocks go . . . good job. I was cussing mine after the last rear upper shock mount bolt snapped off. Dang rust.

I wasn't going to install the boots. But it hit me I might damage the shafts and cause them to leak. But I noticed they have small holes on them, thinking they are drainage holes for rain and moisture. But the more I think bout it. I may cut boots off. I see your point @OFFGRID . And I do agree. Rust can be an issue. And what these cost. Wanna keep'em shiney and new.
As far as install. Old Skyjackers came out with out an issue. Bilsteins went in..not so much. These things are so gas pressurized. It's a work out gettin them to collapse into mounts. But after my first test ride. Well worth the effort. Greatly improved ride. And thanks Peter. I am seriously considering cutting off boots. Great point.

Steering stablizer....also a significant improvement. Kinda slightly pullin to the left. But that's apparently an issue with it. But I had an issue before this install. Gotta swap tires side to side and see if that helps. But overall...Greatly improved my ride.

What duel kit are you using? I'm running a Currie tie rod. Was wondering if I could run a duel set up With this tie rod.

You have salt up there. The boot might actually help . . . I don't know. You are right about the gas charged shocks. Not fun to try and compress while installing.

It's a kit that I found on ebay. Its direct from bilstein. I'll see if I can find it later after work and I'll post it here for ya. As best I can remember it never mentioned anything about fitment around beefier aftermarket tie rods.

Ok boys and girls... I got a question. As of lately I'm only getting heat coming out of a few of my vents. It's good hot heat. But the driver side vents aren't blowing hot air. Could the duct work have come off inside the dash?? Is my heater core taking a shit?? Anybody have some advice on what's causing this??

Check the blend box door actuator. If lucky cleaning up the gears might work otherwise replace. Next inspect for broken blend doors which can be PIA.

I put wheel locks on today. I’ve always worried about the spare on the back getting stolen.

Good move for deterring an ez opportunity! Doesn't take much to lose a $300+ spare tire in less than 60 seconds. Just keep the KEY secured in the Jeep each+every time after usage.

Rubicon Express duel stabilizer kit, Synergy tie rod clamps, and Bilstein stabilizers. Much improved over a single. Steering is abit tighter. But feels really nice. Thanks to @boondoc89 for helping spend my money, and suggestion.

Did this a couple weeks ago. Added the Rigid Spots to my A-pillars. So far so good! Still need to fine-tune the beams. A good graveyard project.
