I want to upgrade my wheels, Can I use factory tires?

    I just purchased my 2016 Rubicon and wanted to switch my wheels from the default Hardrock 17x7.5" to the Fuel D546 Assualt Wheels 17x8.5 - 8x170/180. I was wondering if I could cut the corner of purchasing new tires and just use my less than a month old factory BF Goodrich tires without running into difficulties? I'm not necessarily interested in getting larger wheels because it would destroy my gas mileage in all sorts of ways. 1. Will my Tires work, and 2. Is this not recommended?

    So the inch offset in width will have no impact on the tire? Awesome, thank you! Also do you know if the Tire Pressure Sensors will transfer over?

    The offset will move the wheels more towards the outside of the fenders, which I think look better anyway. The extra inch in width won't hurt anything, as the 255 wide tires fit that size. If anything, it gives more options on going with a wider tire in the future.

    Not sure if the sensors transfer over OT not, but I don't see why they wouldn't.
