Well guys, looks like the only times you'll hear from me is on the weekends. I got a out of town construction job repairing Bridges and I'm only home on Mondays and Tuesdays.

No, it would also damage the wheels. You do have quite a project there though and I am glad to see you are keeping this post alive. Right off hand, after some thought, I would think an air chisel might be able to split those lug nuts after drilling into the tops of the nuts. Although a heavy duty air chisel and good compressor would cost some bucks, renting might be an option. To do any drill work, I would suggest using cobalt drills as you are going into hardened steel. Maybe you will get some opinions on this proposition.

Nice set of replacement parts arriving but the lug nut issue from July is still not resolved? Any success drilling and cracking any of the lug nuts?

If I add high temp grease to my wheel, it will cause little to no damage to the wheel when I take the torch to it.

I want to get a cutting torch and cut it out just like this guy did in the video I just uploaded from YouTube. Seen a cutting torch kit on eBay for $230 bucks. My mom had one on her wheel about a month ago and it took 6-8 hours to drill out just one of hers... and I have four that need to be removed

Sounds like a plan... does the $229 deal include the gas? Hope it works out

I know it includes the tanks but I'm not sure if there's gas in the tanks. I'm about to message the seller and ask him that now. And I hope it works out too, I hope there's enough gas in the tanks to melt 4 lug nuts to the point where I can chip them off

FYI: could be good side money melting lug nuts off as that special service is not in your area ;)

Great job! What is the condition of the old studs on the hub? Are the 4 silver studs new?
