I have a 98 Cherokee 4.0 and when driving I’m losing power when acceleration and experiencing bucking it’ll do that for the first little bit and drive fine but if I shut it off for about 10 minutes and start it again it’ll repeat the process we have already done spark plus wires distributor cap and rotors replaced the tps twice thinking it could of been faulty and the crank positioning sensor and it’s still doing it . Any other ideas ? I’m at a loss

Welcome the the forum @skxj94 .
A shot in the dark. Have you replaced the coil? Had my GFs die for no reason. Replaced the cap, condenser, and wires. Turned out to be the coil. Worth a shot ya know......

there are more parts we can change - CKP, CMP, MAP, O2 sensors, ECT, IAT, and the grand finale the PCM !!

Maybe we could use a SCANNER, check for ALL codes, look at live data. Do you have a scanner?

    Did you check fuel pressure?
The jeep is STOCK (powertrain) no miracle filters, magnets, chips, programmers, modifications, add ons, cheap Ass parts ?
Is the Airbag light or Any other lights on?

Live data would be good to look at. It could possibly (maybe) even be the Oxygen sensor not getting up to temp at the right time.
@skxj94 you might look at getting an OBD2 reader (bluetooth or wifi depending on your phone). They are a good tool to have to not only check/reset check engine lights but for the live data to see what the engine is or isn't doing.

sorry gang - sarcasm the money spent guessing would help pay for the right tool for this issue and future issues.. A SCANNER

Your gang will appreciate your having a scanner ...

The questions asked will help narrow the issue down...
