Hey all, Tom from Helena Montana. I've had a 98 XJ Cherokee for 4-5 years now. 225k on the 4.0 and still going.

Thanks- My son has commandeered the rig. He's a senior at Capital. Pretty much the only time I use it is in the fall when I go up into the mountains looking for grouse.

Bought these fairly new BFG Mud Terrains on the steelies for a decent price this weekend. 32 x 11.5

Might have to take the angle grinder and shave a little off the rear steel bumper. Took it behind the house on a really crappy road- seems to work out no issues.

Nice pics that are competition ready! Weather can't make up its mind on the East coast. Lately some mornings are 38-59 but today reached 71 so no snow yet but I'm expecting a nasty winter for the East coast coupled with drivers relearning how to drive in snow let alone rain.

Is that a 12 gauge up front? I had a 2000 XJ. Is that standard equipment with the 98? Lolll. You guys got snow already. :rain:. I hate fricking snow. Was 70° today. Love it. But that fluffy white crap is heading out this way soon.

Ain't that the truth. Try driving the Parkway in that crap, with people that want to drive 70. Not a good combo.

That snow was a lifesaver. We had a god forsaken fire season and it was dry as a bone- that storm laid down 12-18" of snow and everyone here breathed a sigh of relief!

    It was welcome for sure!

Sweet dude. 28 GA browning. Nice shotgun. I don't hunt. But have a brother that does. Have gone on several occasions. Deer, Black Bear (legal hunt here in NJ once a year) duck. Honestly....its really cool. Just not my thing. I got my high jumping out of airplanes. He got his, pulling back a bow, or a trigger. Either way. It's all good. It's what we do to get thru everyday life. And he taught me a lot about rifles, shot guns, and hand guns. He'd be disappointed. I should have known it was a 28 GA. Lolll.

And plaese.....stop posting pics of all that fricking snow. Really don't need to be reminded of what's ahead here in NJ. Loll.
