I want to change the tires, but don't want to lift it. What is the largest tire I can use? Thanks!

I would think you could easily do 33s. The rubicons come with 32s and there is plenty of room. With a lot of cutting and flat fenders maybe 35s.

Yup. I ran 285/70/17's with no lift for a long time. Only had some wheel spacers added to avoid any rubbing on the sway bar.

Yup....33"s but you will have a little bit of rub at full turn if you stick to stock tires. Note a big deal.

My brother and I both run Nitto trail grapplers, although the price point seems to be a fair amount higher. Tires have so much to do with ride quality that I tend not to trust some of the cheaper tires.

Having said that, the review do look good, and it kinda depends on what you want to do with the rig. If it is mostly highway I might suggest an all terain tire over a mud tire. They will be quieter and usually ride a little better.

I don't know anyone who has run those tires but the reviews all seem good and the price seems low. The rims are sure pretty and I like the looks of them...but too expensive for my taste. However, that is because I ugly-up my rims up regularly on the trail and replace one or two all too often.

RCJeep is correct, if this is a pavement pounder that occasionally hits a trail, an AT will give you a better highway ride, will be quieter and will give you more miles before replacement. If you, like me, are wheeling most every weekend, then a good MT is often a better choice.

Thanks for the input. I do think an AT tire would be a better option for me. The trails will be an occasional event. I spend a large amount of the summer riding the Harley and also enjoy kayaking the Michigan rivers. Just not enough days in Michigan summers.
