So I got the xj done and inspected. This xj is 1000% stock. I did a engine swap of same engine from my 2 door. Starts up perfect runs amazing then dies while driving. I'm not sure on what it could be besides maybe a fuel filter just a guess. There are no codes what so ever.

I believe you are having an issue with the cam sensor or crankshaft position sensor. No codes will be sent, the issue can get worse until it won't run anymore.

I cases that I have seen, the crankshaft sensor goes bad first. I would think by now it has already been replaced. It is located on the upper drivers side of the bellhousing. the cam sensor should be located in the distributor. I had a cps go bad with the same symptoms and from what I have heard the cam sensor issues are the same.

This happened in my ex-XJ numerous years ago. It turned out to be the cam sensor.
    Any progress @Billy1234 ?
