What are the vents for on the inside of the tail gate?

    since I'm in a newer jeep learning curve, lot I don't know. 2010 wrangler, what the deal with all the vents on the inside of the tail gate.

    paid cash for it.
    They’re pressure vents to let the air out when you close the doors.
