    Hello all!

Brand new to this forum. Been lurking for a few weeks. Have been looking for my first Jeep, and I found it last night!!! Figured I'd get in here and start asking questions.

    Prospect:
2006 Wrangler Unlimited. 115k miles. 4.0/Auto/4x4/soft top. Lots of good stuff done to it, and in excellent shape. Previous owner loved this Jeep. Will provide an accurate breakdown with pics once the deal is done and I get it home.

Anyways, me being new to the Jeep world, what are some things that I should address as soon as I get it home? Current immediate action items are:
    -Oil change
    -Air filter clean/inspect
-All fluids topped off/ inspected for signs of any issues.
    -Battery conditioned
    -Thorough cleaning inside/outside
-Full inspection of everything I can get eyeballs on, including plenty of time on the creeper

Also, I hear only great things about the 4.0 motor and have been happy with the ones that I've driven. Are there any issues I should be aware of with it (class wide) or things to address so as not to have problems in the future?

Thanks in advance for any advise or tidbits of info!

    V/R
    Shawn

Thanks all! Deal is all but done. Have to take little drive on Friday morning and give a guy some cash. Hoping the storm front shifts or turns out to be weaker than expected. Won't go if there's ice on the roads. Fingers crossed.
