    Hey there!

New to the forum, not new to auto owner forums. I also exist over on TacomaWorld with my TR00PR Tacoma TRD Pro.

I just bought this 2021 Gladiator last Friday night. I grew up with flatfendered Jeeps. I had 2 CJ2A’s, a few CJ5’s, a 67 Jeepster Commando(in high school tons o memories), a 78 Cherokee Chief and a 50 Willyz truck. The Jeep brand is part of my roots. The stoke is real right now with this new Gladiator.

I, specifically, purchased this Gladiator with the premise of expanding my brand line for the new series of flatbed systems I’ve been designing. I can’t wait for this new platform to bring forward new creations.

My Tacoma has been a great platform for the type of wheelin that I currently find myself doing. And it has spawned a bunch of new ideas for products that compliment the outdoor lifestyle. I genuinely look forward to how this Jeep helps grow and compliment it.

TL;DR - Old Jeep owner. Likes turning wrenches and creating stuff. Stoked to have this new truck!

    Thanks!

Your welcome posts was a polite reminder(to me, that is) that I should probably include my location.

Checking in from Benicia, California. I love my little bucolic slice of Bay Area heaven.

Welcome @Anderson from Tacomaworld. I require plenty of diy repair/maintenance work from my Tundra that the keeps the Gladiator off my list. But glad it works for you.

I’m a tinkerer but nature. My wife won’t let me touch the GX460 that she daily drives. What she doesn’t know is that she has a TRD air intake filter and much more capable Offroad tires than what it originally came with. Eventually I’ll get those running boards off and a little, mild lift on it.

Donner Lake, HWY 40. And thanks for the compliment. I am not a photographer by any stretch. I just point my phone at things and stab at the screen. o_O

I finally got tired of moving the Stainless Door Sill Guard box around inside the truck. The weather has been brisk enough for me to procrastinate on it. VHB prefers a balmy 68*-98* Fahrenheit for the most effective adhesion. So, out comes the trusty ol heat gun. Looks schnazzy! But, let’s be honest, this is a purely aesthetic modification. It has no other purpose other than to add a little bling to the truck.

Next up, rear seat Jeep branded MOLLE bags, window deflectors and front window tints. The window tint will probably wait till next spring. I’m also playing around with different size/style toolboxes as well. I also have my eye on locking hood latches. Oh, and a supercharger...
