    Hi All,
    I m new here I have a Jeep sport 2001 4x4 automatic bought used around 2004
    now have 210,000 miles on it. all original except wheels now Ultra wheels
    got tinted windows a few questions:
    got a small oil leak engine and rear axle too...easy to fix??
    Steering gear box replaced, but still steering wheel wanders
    How long can the transmission last?

    How many miles can I get out of the engine?

    Welcome @minis59 ....the XJ 6cyl has a reputation for lasting a long time. Proper maintenance goes a long way to ensure that. Tackle the leaks, replace fluids and correct the suspension issues and you should have a good rig.

    My steering is not steady, it is wandering
    work done sofar. new steering gear Box and Thrust Angle Alignment

    Plenty of suspension parts to inspect for wear and looseness. The Jeep is over 20 yr old and these wear items may need replacement including the steering stabilizer and various bushings that are not in the picture.
