Hi i just got a certified preowned 2018 compass with the latitude and altitude packages. First thing i noticed was a weird hum between 30 and 45mph which really made me mad considering i just got the jeep and it was said to have gone thru a full service and inspection. Sure enough it needed a drivetrain software update. I asked them to change the plugs considering it has 34k on it but they wouldnt. So i did it and the plugs were literally destroyed. Replaced them with a bosch set. Started using 93 oct, filled my tires to 38psi, highest safe presure for the tires. New air filter oem, oil and filter, and also added liquid moly ceretec which actually reduces friction and vibraton. After those little changes my mpg has noticeably improved. Dont have exact numbers yet but ill hook up my torque app and see what they are. Just wanted to share, thanks.

All good steps toward some improvements. If there are no codes or performance issues stick with the Bosch plugs otherwise sticking with OEM plugs are recommended.
