    i have a 99’ Grand Cherokee 4.7l AWD.

I am replacing my power steering pump and the mounting holes aren’t lining up correctly. Yes, I have to right part, it matches all of the replacement power steering pumps for this model.

what the heck am I missing?

Maybe someone did an engine swap in the past?

Hey man, that is a good question.

I’ll jot down the engine # and research what year it is. If so, I am completely unaware there was an engine swap prior to my ownership

If it doesn't bolt directly to the block, it could also be that someone decided to relocate the pump for some reason and changed brackets.

That’s another question I should’ve asked, when I took off the old one, it didn’t have a bracket, should a 99 have one? As far as I can tell it bolts right to the block with 3 bolts and some blue thread locker, doesn’t even seem to have a gasket or nothing

I think this is the engine # from what I can tell. About to look it up.
