Entry Guards for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

    Hello, I leased a 2017 Jeep and now I am looking for plastic Entry Guards. Since it's a lease I don't want to install something that's permanent. Any other suggestions?

    The plastic entry guards I got from Quadratec are black, durable, protective and use 3M tape. Does a great job protecting the sill and one can probably leave them on when returnng the vehicle.

    The Mopar plastic entry guards, and all brands of guards, will bulge out the rubber door seal, which then opens a water channel to inside the jeep. Water can flow inside there, onto the floor. This was evident sometimes in a 2012 Wrangler I owned. Now, I don't put anything on the door sills, so the rubber door seals fit tight and unbroken all the way around.

    I was actually looking into getting some of these a couple years ago, but thought the same thing, and since I go thru some water crossing from time to time, I passed on getting them.

    Yeah, All the crap Ive brought into my Jeep, and the door sills are still in great shape.

    Read similar stories but I have not experienced any water issues wth my JK with no plans to cross high water. My new JK unprotected high door sills quickly got scuffed up and the Quadratec 3M stick on entry guards provided the protection I wanted and needed for under $30. Easily removed if necessary but no problems to report.
