Hey guys, just wandering if anyone has any suggestions on upgrading my current exhaust system? I have a '15 Rubicon and wanted to get that "muscle car-like" rumble and increase my low gear/towing performance.

Exhaust isn't going to make a huge difference. Best thing to do, would be to check out some YouTube videos and see what sounds best to your ears.

Welcome. In my experience the car manufacturers these days are tuning the engines to the best fuel mileage due to EPA standards. If you place a freer flowing exhaust to get that throaty sound you'll actually hurt your low end power, but will likely gain in top end power. With other mods like a tuner, air intake etc. you may increase power across the whole spectrum. I would look into banks for exhaust, air intake, they may even have whole package systems. Not only are they big in the diesel world, but big in the jeep world too. They have been working on a package for the JK for a while now. Maybe they have it ready.

Magnaflow is what I will be installing this weekend if I get my taxes done. Bought for the looks and sound and not expecting any significant power/torque increase.

They tune twards efficiency. Efficiency results in better Hp and torque. The biggest restraint in an exhaust system, is that the OEM muffler has to flow, but also maintain a certain sound level........or a minimum level. That's why you see OEM mufflers that are huge. They flow fine, but have to be quiet. Not saying there is nothing to be gained, but gone are the days of an easy bolt on hp gain.

    Hello

I added an Air-aid air intake and DB Corsa dual exhaust to a 2016 Sahara Unlimited. Also cut out the resonator and added a straight pipe. Sounds great and probably added a few more horsepower but I do notice the MPG has gone down.

MPG drop probably because the rumbling exhaust makes it hard to keep your foot off the throttle :)

The good thing about ordering an exhaust and intake from the same company is that they are tuned together for a better added benefit. Although I have been guilty of mixing myself. These days I tend to leave well enough alone. "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
