I just picked up another Wrangler TJ with the 2.5 in it. There was a horrible bearing noise when running and I did replace the alternator as it was frozen up. The noise is much less but the AC unit clutch is the biggest culprit. When I hit it with WD40 it goes completely quiet so I'm going to bypass the ac altogether, and my question is... does anybody know what size belt I will need to bypass the ac unit? obviously it's gonna be considerably shorter.

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
There are two belts for the jeep. One for with a/c and one for without a/c just specify which one at the parts store and they will bring you the one you need. My YJ has both routes labeled under the hood for with and without. I would think the TJ was the same.
