Hello to all of you out there in Jeep Land.
I saw my first Jeep 65 years ago on the island, as a Marine came speeding by on a dusty dirt road in an open OD green Jeep. I told myself I will get one some day. A co-worker got lucky and was able to purchase a WWII military Jeep, which he drove to work sometime.

Now retired and purchased the last Jeep Liberty Jet on the dealer's lot Dec 2012.
I added back-up camera and a MyGig RBZ radio with Lockpick adapter August 2015. What an improvement for reversing since I had neck damage from rear end collision 40 yrs ago.
Radio worked great till 15 Aug 2017 (2 yrs). Will not power on, shows nothing. I will try the forum for Qs & As.

    Safe Driving!!

Welcome! The Jeep Liberty is a nice small SUV that was misunderstood and many are still on the road.

    Welcome to the forum Neal.

I'm not very familiar with the Liberties. But I find it really cool how we became a fan of, and became an owner of a Jeep. And where I live. I see a bunch of Liberties. A few customerizered. Lights, tires and wheels...etc. so I'm sure there's a member or 2 that might be able to help if you have plans to build it. Stock is cool too.

    Welcome to the site.

Thanks to all. I love this Liberty, although my first "request" was a Wrangler. You know how spouses can "influence" your decisions!!!
I installed a backup camera via the Lockpick adapter and my next upgrades will be Left & Right turning cameras; also daytime running lights(DRL). The Jeep service department told me this model did not come with DRLs because they were burning out too often. HUH!!!????

I got my radio back this morning. I saw a suggestion to call Coastal Technologies re: the Lockpic adapter. Was a great idea. Spoke to Carlos this morning and he solved my problem in 10 minutes.
I have worked with mini switches for over 50 yrs in all sorts of electronic/electromechanical devices, never remember having one jump/vibrate out of position. My RBZ high speed require switches 1 & 2 -ON. It worked for 2 years and some how, sw 2 vibrated off and disable the radio.
For a minute I thought I would have to purchase another radio
