I'm looking for help identifying these two plugs in the front of the engine right behind the alternator on my 06 liberty 3.7. It looks like a rodent got in there and chewed the wires and if I can figure out what the two plugs are I can get new ones and splice them together. Any help is greatly appreciated15048955186261568916343.jpg

I can't help you ID the plugs but I feel your pain. I have a rat....over a 12" long with tail at least trying to take up residence in my project and parts Jeeps. Have seen his handy work but hadn't seen him until this last weekend, couldn't grab anything long enough to beat him quick enough before he scurried away under the Jeep.

I have wiring repairs to do as well...

Bastard. I'm only hoping that some sort of electrical current shocked whatever rodent chewed through the wires and caused my headache. Sounds like you need some heavy duty rat poisen or the novelty sized mousetraps

Kinda looks like the one further down could be a knock sensor?

Ok. My cool and gauge isn't working either. If that helps narrow anything down

Probably best to find a junk yark with a 3.7 engine and cut the sensors from it. Likely have to buy a complete engine harness from dealer otherwise.

Like I said I appreciate the knowledge cuz I would have been SOL without you guys. Trust me next time I catch a whiff of anything wrong with the jeep first thing I'm doing is posting here and consulting you guys. I'm pretty much sold on this forum.

Dude. Check in when you can. Just saying. It's not always about a fix. Read a post, comment, bust on some one. We're a family. We fight, talk, discuss, and just have fun. It's not all about fixes. It's about family.

Just sayin. Check in when you can. Break up your routine. It's all good. :)
