Slipping and loss of power

    I have a lovely new problem after i successfully replaced my radiator and thermostat. Basically my RPMs are shooting up high but it's taking a while for gain speed. There's no umph or power and it hesitates while accelerating. Some friends suggested it's dirty fuel injectors or maybe even an O2 sensor.

    Any thoughts on what i should check out ?

    Did you bump the distributer somehow, sounds like could also be timing?

    I don't think I did. Everything I did was mainly underneath. So far I'm gonna check the following.

    O2 sensor
    Check for vacuum leaks
    Something is leaking so I need to find wherever that's coming from lol
    Throttle positioning sensor
    And the fuel filter/injectors

    All i can add to help describe while driving is that it sounds stressed. Almost like it's throbbing. The RPMs just rev and usually when I put it in drive or reverse it'll go without even pressing on the gas, but now it'll just stay and takes more than it should to move.

    There's no mention of a "check engine" light or codes which may help target the problem. Failing O2 sensors typically have a rough idle, missing, poor mpg etc or trigger a code. Vacuum leaks could be a culprit. Keep us informed of what has been changed besides the radiator+thermostat. I think one of your posts was about some engine overheating.

    I will. For awhile my check engine light was on but that stopped shortly after I replaced the radiator and thermostat
