I replaced the coil as the guy I got her from said it was bad. But turns out the fuel pump is shot. Filled the float bowl and she ran great with good oil pressure.

    Happy happy happy

Bob it only took me a day of work. I will need to finish a tune up and valve adjustment and hope to get that done before the snow comes.

Jk Bob 25 next step is to make her safe. Floor boards are gone and were replaced with galvanized tin and not very good work. I want to pull the body and treat its under side to a good media blast and sealing. Then put a new floor pan in and weld it up. Now I plan on NOT pulling dents or straightening the body. I want the battle scars as they tell a story about how she has been used for which is what she was made for getting dirty and climbing telephone poles

I like that Thomas. Battle scars tell a story. My opinion. Clear Coat her. Leave her battle scars. Buff out certain areas if needed. But just clear coat her. Sweet CJ.

Keep the upgrades coming. Love it dude.

Not going to clear coat her as the former owner took rattle can paint and did a horrible job trying to cover up spots. Also one of the former owners tried to solve rust issues by patches of metal riveted over holes in the body. So lots of welding in new metal to remove the holes of rust. Body is beat up but I like the scars

That's cool. I'm kinda of an old rat rod guy. Leave the patina and clear coat. But I like your idea. A CJ that old has battle scars. Lol.
