Lulu gave me a nasty surprise today

    So today I decided to see what was under the floor of my cj5. Well nothing is there! No floor and home made supports for the "seat" mount that pulled the sides of the body in. The rest is gone due to rust. So I removed the supports and realized that I'm gonna have to re-body the old girl. Also the rear drive shaft mount that comes off the drive line brake was welded crooked which explains why the drive line is broke. For what I got her for I'm not gonna complain but man what a mess....

    Wow. You got a total restore project on your hands. Apparently....beauty is only skin deep.....with Jeeps too. Lolll. Best of luck with her Thomas.

    That's going to be one big winter project. With progressive restoration the CJ value can only go upwards. It will be an interesting build thread here as we have several CJ jeepers that can assist.
