So I have a dana 30 front axle that I'm installing lockers on. How do you tell if it is a c-clip or non-c-clip axle?

5" lift, 4.11 gears, tru-trac limited-slips, winch, bumbers... you know the rest.
Front axles don’t fall under the “c” clip Category. You will either have a high pinion axle or a short pinion axle either way they disassemble the same. Take a pic I can tell you which it is. High pinion will have Reverse cut gears and short pinion will have standard cut gears.

Should be a high pinion and if it is like my XJ axles there are no C-clips as the hubs hold the axle shaft in the axle.
