Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
That looks like a great bumper at any price. My number one thing I look for is a one piece bumper. I don't like pieces bolted on. It all has to be welded. Awesome find!

Lol. That's actually the exact one I've decided on after choosing its matched rear bumper that has a hinged tire carrier. Totally forgot that you suggested it on this thread. It looks like a really great bumper. I'm hoping to upgrade to that in a few months from my stock. Getting the rear and spare in first tho.

Have you had issues with PC flaking like so many reviewers commented on?

That Barricade bumper offers a lot for the $$ and looks nice. Barricade, Rugged Ridge, etc make a variety of jeep parts some good some not so good so check out some of the reviews. FYI the rear bumper your looking at has a non tow-rated receiver. There is a forum member here that shared his dissatisfaction with his front bumper that you might want to check out. Perhaps his use was more extreme than your plans.

Shipment of any large bulky items like bumpers tends to have some PC chips but a quick rattle can spray should fix that fast. My AEV front bumper bolts need some rattle can treatment as does the TF accessory mount bolts. Keep up with the rusty parts and the bumper should last.

Commitment to 35s means ya gotta go all the way when you got the funds otherwise just place the 29" up front in 2WD to get home.

yeah, hubby has a paint shop at his work that might strip and repaint the rear bumper and carrier for me if it looks beat up from shipment. I didn't plan on getting a winch set up, but hubby said why not plan for it. but from that thread I think i'd rather go with one of the stubbies I was looking at that didn't have the winch plate b/c I just don't plan on doing extreme stuff with it. easy/moderate stuff shouldn't need a winch... that's my thought.

Thx for the advice. we are moving forward on the full size spare.

No issues so far, my only real complaint would be the fog light housing. The fogs are recessed into the bumper so it blocks some of the light output compared to the stock. It's not a huge issue since I don't use the fog lights all that much but something to consider.

Here is my 2 cents worth. Bumpers come down to price, use and looks not necessarily in that order. Once you have decided what you want to do with them you should research the different manufactures. I started with the factory Rubicon rock ft and rear bumpers. The front had removable end caps which i removed. Have stock suspension and 32 factory rims. Got stuck a lot on hills see my jeepin post. My approach and departure angles not so good. Replaced with Poison spyder BFH front bumber and rock brawler II rear bumper. Still same suspension and wheels. Drove same trails and cleared no need for a pull from the skidsteer LOL. The front bumper required frame cutting to install this bumper. I didn't care about this but some people might. Ive heard some dealers might consider this type of work frame damage. I have improved my approach and departure angles. You can see by the pics how the clearance has been improved. Good luck in your choice.
