Ac and heating issue

    $2300 sound system, LED lights inside and out, new fan clutch
    need help! I flooded my engine, causing my spark plugs to miss fire and ever since then my a/c and heat controls only turn off or come out of the feet and defroster how can I fix this problem ???

    Welcome! Though there may be other issues occurring, the two mentioned are separate issues and the "flooded" engine should be a primary focus. The excess fuel may have fouled the spark plugs which can be addressed by cleaning or replacement. There may be a member that might be able to comment on the HVAC issue.

    Thank you for some responses but the reason I mentioned the flooding is because my a/c and heater worked perfectly fine until the time of the engine flood I replaced my spark plugs and it has been running fine but we are getting into winter and I would like my heater to work properly again... the heating and a/c problem started only after this happened so that’s why I was thinking it had something to do with controls getting messed up or something like that

    I think The Heater & A/C vents work off of vacuum check the line on the firewall look for a canister kind of looks like a plastic box with a line going in not sure if the 05 is similar to my 98 but the canister was under the battery tray and that is where the line was damaged hope this works. Now that I think about it electric controls

    Thank you lyfzgood my friend said it would be the controls I just wanted to be sure before I go and spend money on new control set

    Ur welcome on my 98 tj the vent on the dash above the stereo was not working and it was the vacuum line I thought maybe yours maybe was the same. Good luck

    I see your in good hands with previous members posts. I was going to suggest a vacuum line issue. But its been suggested. Good luck and if you find the issue. Please post what you found. It may help another in the future. :cheers:

    Hey....put in 60 hours this week. AND went to my Mom's and helped her with Winterizing her house. Lil bit tired. And I'm 15 minutes behind. In my world right now.....im on time. Lollll.:argue:.     My bad yeah I worked 65 hours this week also cut grass washed the wife’s car and washed the front porch. So I know what you mean going to bed good night to all. BIG thanks.
