Where to mount sub woofer?

    where to mount in a cherokee sport, stock.?
    its a rockville amp box. looks nice,bigger than i thought.
    ive got wires run to rear but?

    The cubby hole on the passenger side is popular for smaller subs and it keeps it mostly out of the way.

    screwed a plywood panel on seat back,about 18x18 inches.
    mounted the amp on the wood. wire hookup and pix tomorrow.
    its a nice looking amp so when not used ill cover it with a towell or jacket to deter theft. its a rockville with "600" watt rating,thats phoney of course!

    I have contemplated doing something similar with my ham radios except I would space the wood off the seat and place the radios and other associated hardware between the wood and seat so they are more protected and not as easily seen.

    need to mount on wood to vent, not the fuzzy stuff on seat back!
    i could offset a cover too i guess. gonna get wired soon i hope.
    i have no ham ant yet. it will go in roof center like my other cars.
