    4 inch lift-tow package
Please settle an argument for me-I have 33X12.50 R 15 LT tires-4 inch lift on an 02 Wrangler.
    Headed for North Carolina beach-
What is a good tire pressure for beach sand-hate to loose bead on rim if I go too low.
    Thanks

Breaking a tire off the bead depends on how you drive it. I had a friend that used to run 0 (yes...Zero) psi in his tires. Mind, they had stiff sidewalls. Depending on the tire rating, vehicle weight, driving style, and sand, I would start at 20 PSI, and work down.

My buddy just came back from a NC beach JK ride to check out the wild horses. 20 psi was recommended in addition to mandtory recovery supplies like jack, pump, recovery strap etc. My set of tire deflators worked easily to deflate the tires quickly and consistently. Now he is shopping for his own JK.

I've seen, read, advice from others and tire manufacturers. 15 to 20. As above posters stated.

Now that the tourists, ( bennies). It's an acronym I'll explain later if you ask. Loll. But now that they are gone here in NJ. We can run the beaches. I've known what the recommended tire pressure should be. Just thought I'd post this for some of our new members that have the opportunity to run in the sand. The quickest easiest explanation why to air down. Hope you don't find his voice annoying. Loll.

Bought these GRIT tire deflators for under ten bucks during a special promo intro. My buddy used them in NC and loved the convenience once he understood how they work.

Sounds like a deal! If you were closer I'd let you borrow them to deflate yourself. Once you've experienced the convenience you will want a set.

Thanks dude. They are on my QT wishlist. Just have a hard time pulling the trigger on things I cant see "on" the JK. Wish I had them now. Lolll. And a decent compressor. I have a cheap 12v. It gets the job done. Just takes some time.

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
When I had my Tacoma my buddy let me borrow his ARB tire deflator. Somehow or another it had stripped the threads on the valve stem. Ended up wheeling the Tacoma anyways haha. Idk I'm a little skeptical on them now. Maybe it was just a freak accident and I didn't do it right. Now I just use my pressure gauge to let the air out and keep checking till I get the right PSI. I'm a simple kind of man. I've only driven on sand one time and that was at South Padre island in Corpus Christi. Tons of fun. Never aired down my tires tho. We caught quite a few really nice Red Drums down there. I need to get back down there

The Grit deflators once set+locked to deflate at the desired psi makes it convenient to deflate all 4 tires simultaneously. Screws on pretty ez. Inflating the 4 tires will take some time with the typical 12V air compressor unless you spend mucho dinero for the ARB compressor or carry an air tank.

Just picked up a set in Ebay for 12 bucks. I'm eyeing a tank now.

The Yankees got lucky with the wild card. Those bass turds would get lucky again and make it to the series. Pissed me off cuz they beat my tribe. I'm salty i know

Ooh wait...we got an Indians fan in the house. They had the Yanks. 2 zip. And Yanks took 3 out of 3. Sorry dude. The Yanks, the better team for 3 days. This series.....the better team for one night. And honestly....some times that's all it takes. What I like about October Baseball. The teams that are there. Belong there. The 4 best teams, playin their best ball, when it counts. If the Yankees don't pull this one out. So be it. We will , and I never say "we". I am not apart of that team. But....i am a die hard fan. We will be back. :infantry:. With our guns, and bats ready to go.
