What is considered good cylinder compression numbers for a 2.5L engine and what difference range is considered acceptable?

    Thanks - MGjoc

From what I can gather, 120 to 130 psi +/- 20% across all cylinders.

Here is my 2 cents worth. From what I remember when I work as an auto tech they said at least 100 psi for each cylinder with no more then 10 % variation between the highest and lowest. Chrysler says 120 - 150 psi with max variation of 30 psi between cylinders. For 2.5L engine. Hope this helps. FYI - to run a compression test - engine warm near operating temp, disable fuel system ( relay or fuse), remove all spark plugs, hold pedal on floor (throttle body wide open) - crank all cylinders the same number of times usually 5 -6 good luck
