    Hi all,
    I'm Kathy
So I'm hoping can get some advice. I have a 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee and I put tow hooks in the front and I want to put
    D-rings in the back.
I want to weld them onto an aftermarket hitch that I'm going to put on
    What's your thoughts

    Thanks all for the welcome
I have a winch adapter/receiver for my hitch. It's not on the hitch all the time but that's what put the idea in my head of welding
    D-rings on my hitch
Just something I was tossing around but don't know

Will absolutely post pictures A hidden hitch in the front would be really ideal just not in the budget at the moment.

Have you thought about adding a bolt-on D-Ring bracket?

    • 4" x 3" actual size
    • Bolt holes measure: 3" x 2"
      • Bolts on to any flat surface (fasteners sold seperately)
      • Mounting requires drilling four 1/2" holes
    • 5/8" thick mounting ring (Clevis)
    • 7/16" thickmounting flange

I like that the building would probably be a lot easier it looks nice I just want to make sure the hardware bolts and everything will not rust but I think I'm gonna have to look into this thanks bunches

A good set of stainless steel grade 8 fasteners and you're good to go.

The Ace Hardware by us stocks them. For the larger size hardware we use a fastener store.
