What do you think would look/function better on a jku on 35s with a 4" long arm kit.

I currently have 35s with only a leveling kit and like the stance it has now with 3.75 bs as far as looks AND functionality.

But will 3.75 be too narrow after the lift is done?

Anyone have pics of a 3.5 bs with a 4" lift?

I don't think a quarter inch will be noticeable.

Yea... a half inch in total width of the axle would be difficult to notice. But you'd know it's a half inch bigger lmao sounds bad... I have a 3.5 inch lift with 17x10 inch wheels with a 4.5 inch BS. sum bitch is like 9 feet wide. I would imagine this would be a relative stance that you're lookin for20170803_190436.jpg

That stance looks nice. Much better than mine.

I wonder what would be the backspacing equivalent of your 10" rim with 4.5 bs to an 8" rim?

I'm thinking it would be 3.5.

I'm thinking it's gonna be real close. You've got your rig set up very nicely brother. With your fenders trimmed and the stubby bumper it gives that widened stance. I think it looks perfect the way she sits. Would a wheel spacer be out of the question to get a little wider with out buying new wheels with more BS??

Thanks man that goes a long wey cuz I'm kinda bummed out right now.

I wouldn't mind spacers. But the smallest is 1.25" and that would put me at 2.5 bs.

I feel 2.5 will be to aggressive but im considering it at this point cuz I almost cringe when looking at my jeep :/
It looks like it skipped leg day.

It may just be that I got used to seeing how wide 3.75 looked on stock suspension. But at highway speeds I could feel a big difference too. It feels worse than driving with the sway bars disconnected on the stock suspension.

Here's a better pic with daylight.

I don't know why your complaining. Your jeep looks great with a great stance. Just remember that the wider you go the worse your turning radius becomes exponentially. I really like the look of my JK when it had stock axles 4in lift stock fenders, and 17x9 wheels with 4.5 backspace and 37x12.50x17 tires. When I went to the Tera 60s front and back the new axles were 5in wider and I couldn.t believe how much turning radius I lost. It's really crumby when I have to back up to make turns I used to make on one pass.

I have a place that's close to me that sells wheel spacers of all sizes for jeeps and stuff. Trailcity4x4.com is the name maybe try giving them a call. They would probably ship them to you and they aren't the most expensive store for that kind of stuff. So that might help a little

Yea judging by this picture it looks perfect. But I see what you're saying if you want to go with a 4 inch long arm lift. You're thinking the height of the jeep with the lift wouldn't look right with the width of the axles with your current wheel/tire setup correct??

    Yes that is correct.

However the 4" long arm is already installed.

I called trailcity4x4 and they have 5/16 spacers. I wanted to try a half inch but I might just try that since the next size up they sell is 1.5

A 5/16 spacer will fit over your lugs and make them shorter for your lug nuts to grab onto. I wouldn't use them unless you are running steel wheels. Get the 1.5s if your going to a spacer. Even better would be to find you some 17x10 wheels and sell your current ones Swapping your tires over to the new wheels. With a 4in lift you can run 37s. You may find someone willing to even trade 37s and wheels for your 35 and wheels. I see a lot of trades like that being offered.

I'm just amazed that all of you seem to have very little jeep lean. All look good, aggressive!

Ok scratch the 5/16 then. I'm thinking I'll give a 2" spacer a try. 2" bs looks to me like it will be similar to the jeep in the pic above.

Every jk leans to the passenger side, it's more noticeable with lift.

I was saying that every jeep post so far has a great stance. They all look aggressive.
