So I just traded in my 99 wrangler sport for a 2005 jeep wrangler x and everything is looking good so far, but after sitting outside in the cold the next couple days after trading I noticed what sounds like clicking or something turning behind the fans or glove compartment? It stops after reaching operating temperature but randomly makes the noise after start up but it starts just fine. Maybe cooking and heating issue ? Heat works great!

When it does it pop the hood and see if you can isolate the sound.
The Purge Control Valve/Solenoid can click, so you might locate it and check that first.
I am not sure on a TJ exactly where it's located (possibly near the firewall on the passenger side) but it should look something like this.

My guess would be to look at the blower motor/wheel cage for some debris but typically a failing blower motor starts whining or squealing.

Awesome! Thanks man, I'll look into those two things. Also, do any of you guys happen to know where I can get a pdf version of the service manual for this 2005 Wrangler? They're all pretty pricey

Start with Jeep.com.( mopar.com) Not sure how long they keep these files. But they may be able to help.

That’s what I found, pain to get to but I found leaves in the blower compartment, cleaned it up and no problem since.
