I just put a 52 inch light across the top of my jeep and the noise is crazy. I read you can tilt the light to help but that didn't work. I put the door trim on the fins and that worked a little but it's still loud. Is there a better fix? This is crazy, I'm at the point of taking it off........

welcome to the site! Precisely one of the reasons I run my lights near the mirrors.

Welcome! The 52" light bar looks awesome until speeds are reached when the whistling begins. Most of the DIY fixes revolve around interfering with the wind whipping past the light bar cooling fins. Perhaps try a different style door insulation from HD or Lowes or the $$ version sold on Amazon since you are committed to that spendy light bar.

I actually was wondering if they had a rounded lens for them. Seems that would make sense if the OEM's made them like that.

Welcome to the forum @Jamesbrandy. Nice rig dude.
I've been contemplating a 52 inch bar. And the issues with the noise I've heard they make. Keeps me from installing one. But, @aggrex, sweet idea. Does any one use that Light Bar Silencer? Looks like a great idea.

Most jeepers complain of noise from the light bar but vibrating the front wheels is a first. Perhaps you're experiencing the 4 forces of flight: lift, thrust, drag and weight

I have to first check if my tires are out of balance. I also had a total detail (it looks great) and my body guy says it possible some of the wheel weights were removed during that process4FBFD2CE-0AE2-46D5-9B1F-C1954C0CA4A1.jpg

That's a badass ride man. The balancing weights would be my first place to check and then get deeper into inspection if that's not the case.

I had my tires rotated and balanced. Still getting vibration at 40 mph plus. Any thoughts. Is it just the wind??

Wow. Doubt its just the wind honestly. Where excatly do you feel vibrations? Steerin wheel its self? In the rear? Time to start lookin at suspension parts. Look at tie rod, sway bar, and drag link bushings. Jack it up and check ball joints. Without goin into alot a cash. That's where I'd start. Bushings.

Where are you feeling this vibration. Is it in the steering wheel? Does the steering wheel shake left and right in your hands? Or are you feeling it in your feet, or the seat of your pants? Once you get up to 33s and bigger, sometimes I have had to have tires balanced multiple times before they get it right. Discount tire has the best balancers out there. I know I have been looking for some for the shop I want to open this summer. Their balancer is like $20k. Doesn't matter how expensive the balancer is if the technician just doesn't care or is not a very good technician.

How many miles are on your jeep? Have you lifted it? If your tires are truly balanced the next place I would look would be your drive shafts. JK driveshafts are known to where out fast once you lift it. Tom Woods has excellent drive shaft kits that update your jeep to fixed yokes at the Tcase with CV style drive shafts.
