Painted final coat on doors, tailgate, and hood today after work with help of my good friend. Hopefully I'll get to the tub tomorrow. Really he's painting and I'm doing the lifting.

Can't wait to see the beast you turn this into. :benchpress: I'm subbed. Don't see many YJs here in NJ. Had a square light XJ for 14 years. Always liked them . Look forward to seeing what you create with this YJ. Good luck and most of all. Have fun with it.

No beast. This is going to be a mall crawler for some teenage girl.

Mall crawler or rock crawler. I'm sure it'll look sweet. Looking forward to what you build it into.

It's been a while since I posted on the YJ so I better show y'all some progress. I've spent a lot of time drilling out broken bolts from when I took out all of the interior. I've slowly been getting it back in. New out door carpet, New seat covers repaired and painted dash board. Wired New speakers in. Left on interior is the back seat and dash panels then on to installation of new top and exhaust.

20170317_195354.jpg Wow. Very..very nice. Wish I had your talent. I'm good at bolt on's. Lol. But you. The seat mounts. Where did you find them? Their not stock. Noticed the creaper near the jeep. Quick naps? It's all good dude. Lolll. Still an awesome build I'm having fun following. Keep the pics coming.

Edit. Just noticed. That was my 500th post. Back in the day. I use to jump out of perfectly good airplanes. And your 500th was a major milestone. I never made my 500th. But I did get to 489. 500 just wasn't meant to be for what ever reason. But, my 500th post here. Was meant to be. And it's an awesome thread for it to happen with.

Sorry if I hijacked the thread, to a point. Just noticed this.

They were in the Jeep when I got them. The passenger seat is the same as my CJ-7. The seats look more like CJ seats than YJ seats. Maybe they were newer CJ-7 seats. They fit the factory bolt pattern.

I haven't been doing much work on anything other than my home after hurricane Harvey, but this week I've taken some time to work on the YJ. At some point my new windshield fell ove in the shipping box and it still shattered. I guess I'll have the glass shop do it. Anyway here is a video on the following YouTube link.

That is no exhaust. Factory header only. I have a dynomax kit with a super turbo muffler on order. I was surprised by how quiet it actually is. Should sound good with the new exhaust. I like a nice deep tone but quiet too. I don't like to have to compete with outside noise just to talk to my passengers.

I started on my exhaust yesterday, but broke one of the studs on the exhaust flange. Don't you know it is a order only item. Oreilly's said it would take a week. Amazon said 2 days. Will see.

My 1994 YJ is finally finished. It took me about 18 months longer than I planned. As soon as I sell it I will start the next project. Likely to be a 1972-1975 Highly custom one off CJ-6. I seem to be having trouble watching the whole video. It keeps looping itself after a couple seconds. If you click on "THE FINISHED PROJECT" in the video it will play in youtube in its entirety.
