Just spent 3 days with my grandson and dog Jeeping, hiking and camping in the Ozarks.
This is what it's all about to me :)

This...your dog is excited in every shot.

Did you run into other fellow adventurers out there?

He was like a kid in a candy store! LOL We were celebrating his one year birthday.

There were 8 of us on the trip the first 2 days, then 3 dropped out for the last day. Quite a few SxSs on the trail, couple of dirt bikes, but not a lot of other 4x4s.

    Edit:
    Here's the vehicles that went
    GEO Tracker
    Grand Cherokee
    Cherokee
    YJ
    TJ
    Three JKs

Our first time without any Toyotas... weird.

Not saying it was your or the guys you were running with Jeff as I can see the mud on the school in your pics and the major ruts already look dry. Hate it when people disrespect stuff like this, makes us all look bad. To be honest I am surprised the school is in as good of shape that it is. These old places already have to fight against the weather and mother nature but the all too often get abused by people and won't be around for others to enjoy.

So frustrating!!! It was like that Sunday when we were there, we said the same thing.
That's the sad part of these trips, beer cans on the trails, littered up campsites, etc. We always take out more than we take in.

I commented on that post in Natural State Overland.

Awesome pics @Blue Baby Sound. Looks like a great time. I love the 6th from the end doggie shot. He looks really stoked to be in a selfie. Well come on. We all know dogs don't have thumbs. Lol. He couldn't take a selfie. Still really cool shot.

The mud on the School. All I'm gonna say is this. Douche bags. Some people just nave no F:censored:IN clue. It's a shame.

We do that trip every spring and fall, one coming up next weekend. Every trip is different.

That trip we stayed at White Rock Rec area the first night, then camped along the trail the second night. White rock is about 5 hours from Dallas, about 3 hours for us from Tulsa.

Here's a few pics from the trip in the fall, we took both Jeeps on that one.
