@JDMcQ will do! I haven’t made any changes just yet! Sooo many options for everything! Just when I find something I like, BAM there’s something else I like more!

Hah! I'm the same way. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Look around. Make a list of what you like and come up with a plan. Most of all, have fun!

I'm driving mine stock for a while. Once the aftermarket catches up, I'll consider a lift, wheels and tires.

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
None of that will stop you from getting a lift installed. But I do believe @OFFGRID is correct on having a Dana 30 front axle. Unless they did a big O switcheroo on us and put that Dana 44 on the Sahara's now. But yea theres a whole other world of aftermarket stuff for jeeps now and it's only gonna get bigger now that the new JL is out. Lifts, wheels, tires, fenders, bumpers, gears, lockers, doors, armor, tops, you name it... it'll be at the ready of your bank account haha I know mine has taken a toll on my funds but it keeps a smile on my face. And I haven't even gotten a lot of expensive name brand stuff cuz I beat on my rig and I haven't learned this term "buy once cry once" yet haha

@boondoc89 you said it.....a whole other world! Patience is my enemy since there’s not a lot of JL aftermarket parts out there just yet!

@JDMcQ I thought that is what my window sticker said about the Dana’s. I guess that’s not a bad thing?!?!

Assuming these new model numbers are indicative of ring gear size, The comparison to the JK Series is:

    JK Dana 30 - 181mm
    JK Dana 44 Front - 216mm
    JK Dana 44 Rear - 226mm

The Dana 44HD in the Rubicon has the same ring gear, but I think its cut for 32 splines, rather than 30. I cant remember for certain.

All I'm gonna say. Awesome posts. But there is no bigger presences in the after market parts....than Jeeps. Again...have fun, try to stay within your budget.....Haha. Good luck with that. And just make it what you like. Make it yours.
