Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
After finishing(is it ever finished) my jeep build, I started wheeling it only to find out how rotten my frame was. I patched it 3 times before giving up and ordering a new custom galvanized frame From Throttle Down Kustoms. I have to say that I was really impressed when I picked it up. It took on a lot of bugs in the 1500 mile trip home.20160727_123102.jpg 20160727_123056.jpg

I stripped the jeep down as much as I could, then took it to a buddies shop where I had access to his fork lift to swap over the body and frame. I then took it back home where I came down with finishitis. It took me another 3 months to real seal the motor, tranny, and T-case and then install them. It took forever to finish all the little nick knacks. I'll post some finished picks as soon as she has a bath.

I will do a better job on my next project documenting my T150/Dana20 to TH350/NP208 Tranny/Tcase swap.

Okay New plans for my CJ-7. A while back I purchased Dana 44 out of a 1975 Jeep Cherokee to rebuild and install into the front. I will have to outboard the springs which I ordered a kit from Daves Customs Unlimited. They were one of only 2 kits that I could find that would outboard the springs without doing a shackle reversal. I don't agree with shackle reversals for many reasons so I went with Daves because the other company incorporated their kit into a custom bumper. I am kind of partial to the simplicity of the CJ bumper. At the same time My buddy who also has a CJ wants to re-gear since he now runs 36s on 410s. He wants my gear ratio of 4.56 plus I have Chromo axles Eaton elocker and Mile Marker Stainless Hubs (stronger than Warn IMO). So I will also have to re-gear his AMC 20 to 4.56 as well. I also plan on switching to Jeep wagoneer front springs because they are an 1 longer but will relocate the axle 2 incher forward. Combined with the same springs in the back already installed that will give me a 4 inches of stretch with a total wheel base of 98 inches. My Dana 44 will have Ten Factory Chromo axles, Revolution ring and pinion 4.56 gears, and an Eaton eLocker with Mile Marker Stainless Hubs. Here is the Kit from Daves:

IMG_20180531_212252.jpg I got side tracked by a wheeling trip and a couple of other projects, but here is the starting point. I figure anybody can take things apart. It's getting them back together that's hard. After removal of the complete axle assembly, springs, shocks, and front hangers I'm left with this. First thing is to grind of the old rear hangers.
