    Hello!

I just bought a 1980 Jeep CJ 7 V8 after 20 years being Jeepless! It has fresh body work and paint but alot of small things were missing from the Jeep. I put a new wiper motor and wiper arms on but the 45-a relay is missing and I cant find one anywhere. Any ideas? Do I have to have a new fuse block put in?
Thanks to anybody who can help!

Welcome! Nice blue CJ. Relays should be available at local auto parts stores

Another possibility is try a junk yard since availability is that limited

Any chance you can use a universal relay off the shelf at the parts store.

    Hi all,

Ive checked the local junk yards. And I dont know enough about it to know if a universal will work. Just found out today I need a new gas tank and sending unit, so I will talk to my mechanic about it. Thanks for the replies!

Good luck. Unfortunately with older Jeeps, or anything for that matter. Things break down. Loll. Wish you the best with CJ.
