Welcome! Too bad for your jeep. Not sure if GFM postings are ok. My son's car got "totaled" as cost for cosmetic repairs exceeded value but insurance allowed me to keep the vehicle. Great vehicle that looks like heck but will run 300k easy. Insurance payment covered initial purchase expense :)

Hey, thanks for your response! I wasn't certain either about putting GFM link here, but at this point I'm trying about anything I can think of. Insurance will let me buy mine back, which, since I have a really good mechanic who has "been my doctor" since forever and I'm in good hands there (far better than Allstate's version of "good hands" to be sure!) is something I haven't been able to decide if I want to do. Even though this rig is otherwise mechanically in good shape there would be some benefits to getting another with lower miles (I'm at 304,000, orig motor/trans . . . hummin' along) and a driver's seat not so broken down (typical Cherokee business). Well, I'll keep prayin', lookin', tryin' and see how this all comes out. Again, many thanks.

Welcome! We don't allow Funding activities on here, unless its an extreme instance, and is discussed with the Staff. Why was it "totaled"?
