I purchased my 2014 Jeep with less than one thousand miles . I am working on my 2nd ac condenser in 3 years ! It is a terrible design ! Wondering if they have some type of ac guard to prevent the protection of the condenser.

Thank you Chris. I'm really unsure what exactly is causing the issue, this time it appears to have been a rock, auto shop really can't give me an decisive answer, maybe a rock, who really knows. The car has not hit anything, in fact, less than 5000 miles has been put on the car since last replacement. The first time apparently I purchased the vehicle with the issue. Was unaware, it's one of the things that I did not check before purchasing the vehicle. The way the condenser is located leaves it very vulnerable to damage by a number of driving conditions.

I put a mesh screen in front of mine to prevent little rocks from hitting the thin aluminum, and I haven't had any issues since. Might be something you would give a try.

Welcome! The Wrangler has one of the most open style grills that leave the radiator and condenser exposed to road hazards. I have added Rugged Ridge grill screens to reduce the amount of debris and protect those vital parts. As mentioned you could easily do some similar DIY grill screen. Some jeepers use plastic roof gutter screening or mesh from home centers for example. Post up a few pics of your jeep

I'm also looking for a brighter bulb for my headlights, any recommendations?

Might see if you can install some mesh in that area.

That is a terrible grill/bumper design on the Patriot to leave the condenser exposed to rocks and road debris. But easily remedied by the simila diy gutter guard or mesh tricks .
