    Hey I recently purchased another zj the other day and I am going to build this one does anyone know what size lift will be needed to clear a let's say 31? If so any preference on which lift. My jeep is a 98 GC laredo

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.

    That's awesome thank you for the reply. I'm gonna definalenlty look into that lift. I bet a 2 in spacer on top of the lift with allow a 31 to clear nicely.

    Yes before and after pics would be great. Start your own build thread. I think a 2in spacer in addition to the 3.5in springs would be too much for the stubby control arms. You would at least need to find longer control arms. At this point I would look into a Long Arm lift for it as the geometry is corrected with the long arm kit.

    Can't add more than what's already been said. As OFFGRID stated. Wouldn't recommend adding 2 inch pucks on top of a 3.5 inch springs. Youd have your hands full of steering wheel just tryin to keep it on the road. If your lookin to that extreme lift. Would definitely look into a long arm lift as mentioned. But even if you just do a 2 inch puck spring lift with your stock springs. Still gonna throw off your ride.
