Removing Rust from Bolts

What can I use or what can I do to Remove the Rust from the Bolt’s holding the Plastic fender

    Welcome aboard! I would swap out the washers, with some Nylon ones. That should help prevent the rust from forming.

    Welcome! Stainless steel fasteners would be my choice if painting the bolt/washers fails.

    You do not want to remove them or I guess use spray paint, worried about overspray.
    tedious BUT try useing your boyfriends nail polish and paint them, clear coat will hide alot.

    Easiest would be 1 x 1 remove replace.

    Whomever's nail polish or not, removal of the fastener then sanding the rust>then priming/painting/coating will delay/stop the rust. Stainless steel bolts+washers in highly visible areas work great and won't rust as easily.

    do the bolts 1x1 -- nothing should move and create a visible line...
