Stock 93 cherokee, what would be the best wheel and tire size for this? I hear 15x8 with 31x10.5 but I would like to hear some opinions.

I ran 265/75/16 (a true 30.5" tall) on my 97 XJ and they rubbed.
I ran 30x9.5x15s on my 93 and they didn't rub.

The fenders are a little different on the 97+ XJs and tire sizes are not always true to the advertised size. I have had 30"s that measured 28.5".
31"s may rub or they may not depending on who made it and how true to size it is.

15x8 wheels are fine. Especially if you get a different back spacing which will keep a little larger tires from rubbing on the front control arms.
On the back though a larger tire will still rub on the rear lower edge of the fender.

3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
Hmmm well if that's the case you might as well wait till you get your lift installed and then slap some sweet 33's or 35's on it with a little trimming maybe. Might be worth a shot
